We are seeing patients in the office while following CDC and MainLine Health guidelines. For your safety, we are implementing rigorous measures to optimally protect our patients and staff. We believe that these measures will make our office the safest environment outside your home. The layers of safety include the following:
- All patients will be screened over the phone for any risk factors relating to COVID-19. Any patient with risk factors will continue to be treated via telemedicine.
- All patients will be required to wear a mask to their office visit.
- Upon arrival to the office, patients will telephone the front desk to check in. Patients will then be interviewed by the medical assistant and doctor from their cars to ensure social distancing.
- Patients will then be escorted into the office directly to the exam room for a brief amount of time for the physical exam and tests to be completed.
- All staff and patients will be screened with temperature readings and required to wear a mask at all times.
- As always, we will remain diligent with our cleaning and sanitation protocols.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition time.
Rocklan D. Walker, D.O.
COVID Testing
You may have heard about the new Laboratory testing for COVID-19 exposure. This blood test is now available to the public. Please understand, this testing is NOT simple and straight-forward! DO NOT GO DIRECTLY TO THE LABORATORY! It is CRITICAL that you first discuss this test with your provider so that we can make sure you understand what the test can and cannot tell you about possible exposure. If you are interested, please call the office to schedule a Televisit consultation with your doctor.
Telemedicine
TeleMedicine allows us to have a video call with patients through a computer or cell phone.
